The Church Street Festival is a weeklong community festival that highlights the local businesses, groups, and organizations to visitors and residents to promote the town as an outstanding community to live and visit. 

FESTIVAL OBJECTIVES

1. Boosting the economy by attracting visitors to the community 

2. Having a positive effect on the local economy–affecting tourism and non-tourism-related businesses alike.

3. Fostering community pride by involving many members of the community.

4. Create an “experience” for both residents and visitors to the area which will help them connect to the area encouraging a return visit.

5. To expose our community to innovative and diverse artistic expressions.

6. To encourage artists to deepen, reflect, and challenge their art practices.

7. To include and encourage emerging artists.
